I downloaded all the ISO disks for FF7. Disks 1 and 2 work fine, but disk 3 is separated into 3 different files (ccd, img, and sub) Does anyone know what to do? I've tried making all 3 files into an ISO, and mounting the files with Daemon tools. Nothing seems to work. Any help would be great!
ff7 for the pc? for the playstation? where'd you get them?
Sorry, should've specified. It's for the Playstation, but I'm using an emulator on my PC (PSX.)
I downloaded the ISO's from a torrent.
Disk 1 and 2 are normal ISO files, but as soon as you unzip disk 3 there's always 3 separate files. (As mentioned above.)
Like I said, nothings working. Today I even tried running the actual game disk (which I own) But all that does is cause the game to freeze. Then I tried ripping it with Alcohol 120% as an ISO; still no luck.
The only thing I can think to do, is try and play my save states with ePSXe. Anyone know how to do that?
Your playing it on the actual PSX?
You'll need weird shit to rip the mem card to computer data, probably gonna have to buy it from online stores. Can't be hard to get though, but it might be pricey. You'll need something like PSX memory card to USB or something.
Even than I'm not entirely sure it'd be possible to run the ripped data on a emulator.
well, no, i think he said he was using an emulator - called PSX. but anyway, ePSXe always seemed to work really well for me, although pretty much every squaresoft game needs special setting you need to look up online when using an emulator, ff7 is no exception.
Well, I just tried running my saved game on ePSXe from psx, and that didn't work. The problem is with the 3rd iso disk (that I downloaded). It goes from the start up screen to some weird Playstation screen with a black background; and it won't go past that (making it impossible to load the saved game.)
Like I've said I've tried using the 3 disk/ISO that I own, but it doesn't work with the saved info from the downloaded ISO's.
Anyone know how to transfer memory card info from PC to Playstation memory card?
Holy. Crap.
...I just mounted the ccd file with Daemon Tools, and it worked...
Damn.
Well...Thanks for the help everyone!
awesome... Sorry we weren't much help...
