I love video game music. Because it's designed to be in the background, it's almost perfect to listen to whenever. Great for concentrating at work, because there's suaually no words to get fixated on, and so you can focus more on what you're doing, listening to awesome tunes while you're at it. (Starmen.net's Rock Candy Cd's work nicely)
Anyway, I was hoping some of you out there shared my love of great soundtracks for games, and post your own. To Start us off, I have with me Opoona.
Now, the thing you need to know about Opoona is, aside from it's charming quirkyness, it had awesome music. The other thing you gotta know? It never released a soundtrack. That's a shame, because it has an extremely unique sound, and a wide variety of tracks - all composed by the guy who wrote the music for Final Fantasy XII. But, thankfully, someone out there manually ripped every single track, and put it on the net - lovingly filled with track names and all that. Now, when I started looking for that, I discovered that it was very hard to find. I found only one site with any active mirrors, and only 3 out of the 4 parts were working. After tirelss searching, I finally managed to find a working link for the 4th part. I can't imagine this process has gotten any easier. So, I uploaded it all to megaupload, and am giving you the link.
