The kuma/war games had a good premise, but ended up being insanely awful. The realism-style combat mechanics were pretty decent, the expansive game environments showed promise, and the "real life" angle could have been exciting
Regrettably, in the end you just get this mundane objective-shooter with poor squad AI where every weapon feels exactly the same, AMERICANS wade through grossly inflated enemy body-counts, and AI encounters were always the same regardless of circumstances. Then they switched to source and it got even worse. Underpowered weapons, short levels, infinite item carry capacity bullshit, and as gamey as possible.
Yep. If I were in power, I'd issue a death sentence on these suckers as well.
