I love ping pong. In this thread let us talk about our love for ping pong.
My house has a ping pong table outside.
We keep it covered with a tarp.
We play ping pong at night or during the day.
At night we have a lamp on near the table but it is still very hard to see the ball.
Anyone have any crazy ping pong tactics to share?
One I have been working on is to let the ball drop below the table before you return it. This way your opponent cannot quite tell where and how you will be hitting it.
I am not a pro by any means.
But I remember in school when I was young I once had taken a hit of exctasy and then proceeded the most fun match of ping pong in my life. I was even pretty good, even though I pulled stunts like playing on my back.
The only ping pong table near where I live is outside and made out of stone. It's also uneven and impossible to play on. Makes for fun when drunk and you don't have anything else to do, though.
At my university, there is a ping pong table located in the empty room under a big staircase. There's always someone playing, mostly the asian exchange students against the rest of us. I never played so far, but it's very relaxing to take a break and watch them play.
