you don't dismiss the gravity of an atrocity by trying to compare it to other things, which seems to be the attitude of a lot of posts in this thread. that's like telling someone to get over the loss of their family because you know someone else who lost a family of larger size. you also wouldn't tell them to "get over it" because time has elapsed. if you feel the need to belittle the suffering of holocaust victims for whatever reason, whatever, but don't try to justify your attitude by playing the comparison card
