My question:
What the heck is "tanasinn"?
Googling really didn't help, kept finding lots of random and weird comments. I'm pretty much still as confused as when I started.
HMM, actually, I may have found one page, but it doesn't really make sense to my brain, as i lack sufficient knowledge of the japanese language/culture (virtually nonexistant) and the translated page doesn't really make me understand properly.

I used Partner Matching System for Otaku ( http://www2.puni.net/hol/en/ ) and for all three results #1 was some girl named Mana from a show or game called Hah-Hah Telepass. I googled the title and the only result was http://www2.puni.net/hol/en/ !!

try alternate spellings.

GameFAQs has most of them under some spelling or another, and if you change the language to http://www2.puni.net/hol/ you can probably get the japanese name

Ye gave me a link to a DQN thread. My impression from that one was that tanasinn was like "harbl" mixed with "Tao" and "ZOMG CONSPIRACY". However, that was just my impression, and I didn't feel I had really groked it.
