ITT we discuss lucid dreams.

I used to lucid dream occasionally, but recent school-related stress has made it more difficult for me to even remember my dreams. Now my summer vacation has started, and hopefully I will succed in having lucid dreams again...they are often quite entertaining

Any other lucid dreamers here on 4-ch? I need advice in how to increase the chance of my dreams becoming lucid ones.

For those who don't know wtf I am talking about: a lucid dream is a dream where you are aware of the fact that you are dreaming, while dreaming, and able to control the dream as you desire.

I've dreamt lucidly before, but my control always seems pretty limited and not really worth the time/energy to induce LD.

Thinking about it all the time helps. Or at least right before you go to bed.

I can't lucid dream very often, but what's fun is figuring out how to stay awake when your body goes into sleep paralysis. It's very scary and weird.

I've done it before... most of the time when it happens, it's right before I'm supposed to wake up (like I might hear the alarm go off in the back of my mind), or after I wake up and go back to sleep because I want to finish the dream I was having.

At least once I was disappointed during teh dream, because I wanted to finish a dream, but I knew that I could now make anything I wanted happen. Knowing that, I pretty much tried to make things progress as I thought they would have.

You can work to increase the number of lucid dreams that you have. I tried that for a while with pretty good results. For some reason, though, I fell out of it. My current sleep scedule is far too messed up to try that again, though.

OP here, I had a lucid dream this morning, but it wasn't very vivid...but I'll definitely practice more, this was my first lucid dream for a very long time. In the dream I did the usual stuff, flying around and observing the dream.

Does anyone know good tutorials?

I know two sites:

That sounds familiar. You realise you're responsible for telling the story and it's less interesting that way.
