I'd watch anime, except I can't because if it isn't interesting as hell I just get bored after a few episodes and forget about it. This is true for most anime I've seen so I've only finished something like 10 series in my life. I wish I could just enjoy boring things, life would be so much easier that way.

That kinda stinks! Do you prefer comedies? If you do, what about American cartoons, like Family Guy, The Simpsons, South Park, Williams Street...somehow I feel like a dork talking about these shows on 4-ch.
I also have a hard time watching anime, but for me it's if there isn't any comedy in it. Of course there are really good shows that are exceptions and don't need comedy to be enjoyable (Mushishi is the only one that comes to mind atm). One of my favorite comedies is Ichigo Mashimaro -- even though it's generally slow-paced and boring, the cuteness and comedy more than make up for it.
I can also go through shonen anime pretty fast, guess I am a sucker for plot devices lol (filler is an exception in every shonen I've watched except One Piece)

Only because people are disgusting and horrible creatures. I'd kill myself instantly if I was forced to spend my time with people.
Do you know the reasons why a person choose to be alone, like a hikki? There are as many reasons as there are shut ins. But commonly, it is unable to be accepted by the community, whereas in school, work, in any form of groups. Shut ins don't be alone, no one wants to be alone forever if they can get to choose. But life are not equal. You cannot control how others think of you. If they don't like you, then they really don't like you, thats simply the truth.
You haven't experienced a life without love, respect, acceptance, etc. You haven't hit rock bottom. You haven't experienced anything yet to give a fair say about them.
If any hikkies goes out and try to fit in, mostly likely he'll be put in jail.
No one wants to be left out and shut off from others, because like animals like to be around with others.
Please don't assume hikki to be suicidals, many non-hikkis are suicidal, please keep that in mind. Not everyone here is a hikki if he is alone in his free time and have depression.
