4chan is much more shocking for the general public than 4-ch will probably ever be.
Listen: On Sunday, October 22nd, 2006, there will be seven "dirty" explosive devices detonated in seven different U.S. cities; Miami, New York City, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Oakland and Cleveland. Given that a dude got arrested for merely posting on 4chan, I think we should be taking this more seriously.

Actually, the FBI didn't fall for it. They thought it was nonsense but passed it on to Homeland Security, who thought it was nonsense, but passed it on to local officials stating that it was an unlikely threat.
