Let's talk about shoes!
What do you wear and stuff like that.

I've been wearing normal Converse All Star's for about a year now,
but a couple of weeks ago my right one tore up and I had to throw it away, so I'm wearing some older one's that I never used now.

Wearing All Star's in Norway sucks anyway, especially now that it's winter.

I wear whatever looks good, is cheap, and is decent quality when I need new shoes. (Every year or so, I guess.)

I think I have reebocks or something, currently.

I never saw the big deal over shoes.

I've had my current shoes for about four years now, and they will hopefully last me for the rest of my life. No matter what happens, my footwear problems are settled.

What's so good about Vans? Also, what type of shoe are they? Tennis?

>>7 They're "casual" shoes. Skateboarding shoes I guess.

My favorite brand is NSS. Something about them feels more comfortable to me than Vans or (definitely) Converse. I'm not picky about what brand of shoe I wear, but I do usually like them to be brown.

i effed up my shoes a few days ago by drenching in sea water. oh well...
anyone copped the new starburys? i thought they looked kinda ugly, but can't argue with $15/pair
saw a sneaker documentary (justforkicksmovie.com) a while back with guys with like rooms full of boxes. it was nuts
does anyone try to purchase ethically-ok shoes?

It's because you are a straight male. Or a dyke.

they last a long time unless you have the "oh noes there's a scratch on it i must by a new pair" mentality

I don't take good care of my shoes. I have one pair of semi-nice brown dress shoes, which I wear to work, around town, recently walking around in muddy fields.... I need a new pair. :\

I wear army boots. My friend got them from his national guard troop or whatever you call them. They were overstocked boots being taken out of service. Very nice and can't beat free from uncle sam.

What used to annoy me about shoes is that by the time I needed to buy a new pair, the shoe companies always release a new styles with useless/shiny additions. However, I realized that now that my shoe size is a constant, I can just buy multiple pairs of the same $30 shoe. Next time I find a pair I like I plan to buy 3-4 of that specific pair on the spot, and I'll be set for a couple of years.
