The first post was clearly shopped, which one online magazine showed (i forgot what link it was). Anons got amused and shopped it to be correct, and since then people repost the corrected image rather than the blatantly shopped image (blatant only to people who know how the date stamps are formatted at 4chan).
I don't think it's fair to be so prejudiced against Koreans because of this. There's a lot of very decent Korean people out there, especially Korean-Americans.

Alot of crazy people do crazy things. I dun see everyone running around saying Gays are fucked up because just look at Jeffery Dahmer. I mean the guy was fucked up, as most obsessive people tend to be.
don't group him, rather don't group the Koreans with him. One of my best friends is Korean, I'm something other than Asian (i'm an alien) and he is just as appalled by this shit as everyone who ain't Korean is.
is a terrible thing that happened, even more terrible because these kids were going to college, they were looking forward to the life ahead of them. they had dreams, graduating, job, sex....
now all they got now is fucking 6 feet of dirt over a face no one will remember in a week from now. so fucked up.

the guy was schizo...flat affect, homicidal ideations, the whole nine yards. and i don't mean that he was "fucked up", i mean he had a real psychological problem that needed treatment. his being korean has no relevance to the tragedy, aside from his parents committing suicide...
anyway--normally when someone like that comes into a psych ward with either suicidal or homicidal ideations, you keep him against his will. if you've kept up with the news you already know that this is exactly what happened--until a judge let him out the very next day.
