It's been about two years since I have last been to 4-ch. Last time I rember It was a fun place to be where people were honest and polite. Wapanese were wapanese, not weaboo.
It seems that in the time I was out alot has changed. Now a rather large portion of the userbase is /b/tards (screaming their memes, trolling, spamming, /b/ spelling). Granted I have no issues with /b/ it's self (I have been on 4chan's /b/ from 2004 till moots faggotry lead to /b/day where I moved to 7chan, so as a /b/tard myself it is about where rather then how)
So, it seems that now:
4chan = gaia
7chan = 4chan
12chan = fbilolbrb
4-ch = new /b/?
When did this site get all these /btards or did they just come in over time?
Is their a sucessor to 4-ch that is still untouched and has the same sou that 4-ch did?

I came to here thanks to 4chan (those naked pictures of ksqueeks didn't hurt). I've never acted as if I were in /b/ on any of the boards, except for sometimes at DQN. Though I really don't think /dqn/ is nor should be the same as /b/.
I don't visit any other -chan sites except for 4chan once a while, but I do visit 4-ch several times a week, and 2ch some times a month.
The site probably always had a lot of (ex-)4channers, though recently the amount of trolls must have increased.
Rather than escaping from 4-ch, it's more important that you stay and maintain the kind of 4-ch you want to have. There will always be trolls in open forums, but trolls get tired and bored after a while and go away.
If you want more people of a certain kind here, invite them here from your other online hangouts. Some will prefer to stick to just their old place, others will take a liking to here.
Think of open board sites like this as a public spot in some city. A public park.

I've been noticing a large amount of that type of posting "/b/" recently, as well... In my mind, that kind of thing here needs kept to DQN, but still there are pointless Troll threads that popup in the different forums, and also the stupid retarded "kill yourself" or "put it in" replies that also frequently appear... (Don't even get me started on the spam replies, which, thank gawd, the Mods take time to stop...)
I still think the best thing to do is to keep coming and posting at 4-ch, if you want it to remain a place for intellectual discourse... Otherwise, people will come here for the first time to discuss something or ask a question, and if the only people remaining are the /b/ rejects, the poor first timers will be disappointed to not have any interest/support in their post, and they themselves will leave, dejected...
I always try to respond to peoples posts/questions, to keep that intelligent discourse alive, as the dominant kind of life here, if nothing else, and keep the /b/ in the minority...
