Hello y'all,
This might belong in the language thread, but...
I am taking a break from school this year, to kinda take care of some business projects and saving up money, but I'd still like to keep my mind still sharp. Thus, I am going to continue home study of Arabic... so I've set aside an hour a day for studying my Arabic. However, I realized the other day that my Turkish is fading somewhat (while talking with my Turkish friends), and I am wondering about taking some time out of my day each day to work on Turkish.
Only thing is: would that be too much on my head (even though I have plenty of time each day)? How would I coordinate two languages and keep my head from confusing them? I would like to retain the first language as much as possible, while still being able to really concentrate on the new one. Any ideas?
