guys we definitely do NOT want to americanize, mainstream ourselves, etc.

If 4-ch does not keep it's niche, 'densha-otoko' identity as some of you referred, it will just become shallow garbage like 4chan has

the mainstream has no basis, only communities with a niche and basis will survive

look at gurochan
its an extremely tiny community with an extreme niche, and it is one of the best left

yeah it looks ugly and bland to americans, but we need to keep roots to japanese net culture, ive personally grown to like this basic look, it feel slike home

bringing in more people defeats the purpose if they kill the site

we only want people who are willing to immerse themselves and learn about our culture; we DEFINITELY DO NOT need or want to bend and change ourelves ot meet THEIR needs and wants
