I haven't yet- since the first time- I got my ear piercings done by a non-professional and the second time because I didn't have enough Iron in my blood. ;___;! One day! I'll donate!
The idea of having the blood sucked out of my body horrifies me.
Yeah I am not allowed to coz my iron levels are too low.
How ironic.
I was kinda worried the last time I could have because my blood circuit is kind of weak as-is, but I'll probably go the next time the opportunity comes up.
I'm gay so they don't let me do it EVEN THOUGH I'M STILL A FUCKING VIRGIN. NO HIV THREAT HERE PEOPLE.
Fascists.
>I'M STILL A FUCKING VIRGIN.
Then you're not 'gay', you're 'gay-lite'. You probably ticked the wrong box on the form.
>>2 Your blood won't get "sucked out". You feel a little prick and then it just flows, you feel nothing.
Do something for other people's sake, god dammnit.
I donated blood 4 weeks ago.
I hate needles.
I don't even like going in for shots I NEED. :/
I tried a few years ago in highschool, but my blood pressure was too low and they prefered not to. I might give the next time there's an blood-donating operation around my area.
around 2 months ago
Last week. They gave me cookies =D
i can't donate blood because i ate beef in europe
This shows why many non-Japanese people don't know what their blood type is.
I was going to go a little while ago because it seemed like a good way to get a free blood test. Then my liver died before the donation date.

We have really good and seriously fast (And idiot-proof) tests for that nowadays. It's often faster to test someone than to find documentation, and far safer. You have to test before giving a transfusion anyways, because you just can't risk giving the wrong type.

Me too. I feel queasy just reading this thread. I once new a guy who was really into donating blood and when he told me about it I almost fainted.
I'm 23 and hate needles.
I got a tetanus shot recently (first time I've been around a needle in years) and was all nervous. The nurse teased me about it and told me to just look away.
