>>I drink my morning coffee while standing on a table
Hello there, table cat.
My whole day is one big ritual/habit. I get up at exactly 6:50 everyday. I then spend 35 minutes of 5 minute intervals getting ready, with the first five being dedicated to brushing my teeth and putting in my contacts, the second and third five going to brushing out my hair with water and styling it, then 10 minutes of just sitting around/waking up/waiting for hair to dry, followed by actually get dressed(which has a specific order), and the last ten dedicated to miscellaneous things like pooping, putting on deodorant and perfume, face washing, and ear cleaning(in that order, sometimes with extra things). I then go to school, where I eat either a blue-berry or oats&chocolate granola bar during my third hour(Doesn't matter what time, just has to be during third hour), and alternate between hanging with 'friends' on Tuesdays and Thrusdays and going to the library on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays during lunch. I also enter and exit the school by the exact same path everyday, although I tend to go whatever way I want to get to the classes themselfs.
After school I either go to work or go home, where I spend one hour on the internet. After that I do any homework I have until I'm done or until 6:00, when I quit, finished or not, and watch a half-hour of TV while eating. Sometimes, while doing homework, I also cook for the latter meal. At 6:30 I take a 35 minute shower. The first five minutes I adjust the water temp and put shampoo in my hair. I leave the shampoo in for five more minutes, while I brush my teeth. I then rinse out the shampoo, and put in conditioner. I sit around with the conditioner in thinking or fapping for 10-20 minutes, and then spend ten more rising it out, drying off, and getting dressed. I have a specific order for taking off and putting on my clothes, jewelry, and deodorant.
After that I'm back on the internet with the T.V. on in the background. I have a special order of websites I visit, but after I visit them I'm free to roam around the net wherever I want. At 10:00 I log off, spend 20 minutes getting ready for bed(more five minute intervals) and then spend the remaining time until 11:00 reading.
Keep in mind this is for weekdays only, and I have separate, special routines for Fridays after school/work, Saturdays, and Sundays.
He prefers to call it CDO. That way it's in alphabetical order.
For a long time I thought I might, but really, it's not disruptive and it doesn't cause me any anxiety. If I spend 10 minutes getting dressed instead of 5, or if something happens that disrupts my schedule, I don't really care. I just deal with whatever is going on and then try to get back on track, but if I don't that's fine too. Sometimes I break the routine myself, and often enough work prevents me from doing everything at the times and in the ways I want too(and sometimes prevents me from doing something at all).
So no, I don't think so. It's just a very organized, repetitive routine that I enjoy following.
