Damn Teachers (23)

Yesterday was really tough on me.
I've been sick for a while, even throwing up, but there was something that really bothered me:
I was caught cheating off a friend in World History class. The teacher walked over and tore up our papers. After class she pulled us aside and told us why she did what she did. Of course I already knew that I was wrong, but when she turned to me, she said she saw how upset I was about being caught and she told me I looked really indignant. She made me apologize over and over before she turns to my friend.
Let me tell you about him: he's smart. Really smart. But I know things that he doesn't and I score higher on tests. I just don't work as fast and show off as much so my teacher just thinks of me as a really studious kid, but ultimately average.
Now, Andrew, my friend, is the know-it-all who says way more than he needs to and gets people upset. Like me, for one.
Well, I digress. The teacher turns to HIM and says," I get that you're really smart, but you can't let people cheat off you. I will fail you if you keep doing that. Now you and your friend are going to have to move farther away from each other when you come back to class. Just do your own work."
Of course he is hardly affected. He doesn't care about flunking because he KNOWS he won't.
What really ticks me off is that the teacher didn't see that I had given him answers too. I'm not stupid and I wish she would realize that.
I also wish I could get over this and forgive myself.
Can anyone lend me an emotional bandage? x(
