furries on the other hand, majority of internet users think that they're another different type of sex culture. so I asked this question on some other bbs saying what if I liked drawing toon animal/dragon and don't and don't do the porno/perverted stuff. they replied, you're not a furry. I don't know if I disagree with this but I can't exactly get the facts from one person though.
I just wanted to know if that was true or not.
If it's just an art style in which you like to draw, you're not a "furry" under modern colloquial definition (though you might be under the original definition from before it was all about the porn).
I think of "furry" as a continuum. On the far left edge you have "Liked Tail Spin." A bit farther than that is "Draws animal people." Crossing over the median point you get "Draws animal people doing it," followed very quickly by "Draws animal people exclusively from Sonic doing it." A pretty far ways away is "Gets off on dressing like a raccoon," then a slight gap that might represent the last reaches of sanity, and then "Believes he is a raccoon." Then there's "Believes he's a three-dicked raccoon/dragon hybrid." At that point you have gone much too far.
At the very far end is "Sucks of dogs."
I think you're in an alright place.

That's like saying, "I believe in Jesus, but I don't know what the bible says, am I a Christian?" (actually there's a less ambiguous definition for christians than furries, but you see my point I hope). It doesn't really matter whether you're a christian or not, what matters is that you believe in Jesus. That's what you are, someone who believes in Jesus, not someone who is a christian, not something else. Therefore, you are someone who likes to draw cartoon animals and that's all. You're not a furry, you're nothing more nothing less. Fuck it, I like everything so I'm everything.
you're only a furry if you think that sex with animals is the only thing that defines who you are and that everyone in the world needs to know about your sex life.
so in case if I draw toon/anthro like animal characters, even go by a character like that over the internet eventhough I hate porn, then what type of person am I? Still furry, something else?
God damn it you insane brainwashed morons, there's no such thing as "being a furry". You just act awkward.
I like hanging out with other dudes, but I'm not sexually attracted to them. Does that still make me gay?

Do you go by the character of a dude over the Internet?

Maybe. Maybe not. More importantly, are you sexually attracted to women?
That depends: At any point in this loosely defined activity of 'hanging out', did your testicles come into physical contact with the testicles of another man?
draw me porn!!! :D
