Somebody killed Obama? Then why are gas prices not back down under $2/gallon?
Breaking news!
Osama is still dead.
also, now that Osama is dead, do you suppose the TSA will stop searching for him in the bodily orifices of toddlers and octogenarian grandmothers?

No, they are going to keep doing it for years to come to save the children from terrorists and pedophiles.
The patriot act will go on forever. More things like ACTA and COICA will pass. The internet kill switch will be used in the next twenty years. The new chips in our cell phones will be used for a lot more than presidential messages.
> internet kill switch
yeah, and then they're gonna introduce the solar kill switch that turns off the sun.
>>5
It's already been put into legislation and it looked like it was going to pass, havent checked on it in a while though.

yeah, but they can't actually do it. they're no more capable of shutting down the internet than they are of shutting down the sun. they can't even shut down wikileaks, and they think they're going to be capable of shutting down the whole internet? really the most they could do is cut themselves (the u.s. government) off from the rest of the world while everyone else in the country would find ways to connect, like the wifi connection i've got set up across the border to canada.

Well yeah thats what I meant. It kills the internet in America similar to what Egypt did. Only people on the boarder with other countries had a chance to get a connection going. But say that it won't work at all, don't you think that the fact that the American government is actually desperately trying to accomplish such things is scary as all hell.
