The protect IP bill passed. All is lost. The Internet henceforth will be known as the Govennet. Darknets, VPNs tor sites, and the like will collectively be known as the Internet.

The only real effect this will have is to add to the huge pile of evidence that the U.S. government still doesn't know how the internet works. WikiLeaks and The Pirate bay aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
