Yugioh does have alot of charming qualities and complexity (when I started playing, the OCG had the ugliest card art of any game I'd seen, but stuff like setting traps was an appeal)

Then you start playing with other people. And this is where the problems come from. The game would be GREAT if it weren't retards and pricks who only care about winning (As if its their fucking livelihood) In tournaments, this can be forgiven. But tell me, what is the fun is Yatakarasu locking your opponent in every game? There's literally a billion other cards and deck types that can be created, but no one used them because they don't want to have fun. In Yugioh, Fun = Getting the shit raped out of you

Have you been around YGO for very long? Even though I look back at the game with alot of anger and sadness, I still think that in the end, I had a good time. I'd love to meet those people I hung out with at message boards back then. Did you ever post on any boards? If so, which ones? I may have seen you around
