well college is right around the corner and being an architecture undergrad i can't help but think about the coming semester. Sure i love what i do but shit....sometimes you just want to sleep more than 10 hrs a week and be covered in sawdust 24/7. Anybody else know what im talking about?
yep. dated an architecture student. just gotta deal.
Been there and done that. It's been quite a few years since I was in school but those deadlines are real in the working world too. The only difference is that you get paid but soon you will find out that you only know other architecture people and all your other friends think your crazy for doing it. Later you must learn to organize yourself as you need to balance work with family. My personal rule since I started working was that I would never pulled an all nighter on the job. I did do 300 hours in 1 month (170 standard), and after both projects went on hold so it was not worth it. Just tell your client you need more time.
