Anyone ride them?

I may buy one in the near future, and I was wondering if 4-ch could answer a few of my questions:

I've heard pocket bikes that are "made in china" are bad quality? Is this true?

Also, does anyone have a pocket bike they'd recommend to someone starting out?
Preferably one that could last a while.

I have a pocket bike question too: why are they called pocket bikes? They don't fit in your pocket.
