I'm obsessed with the game. I play it any time I can. That delicious wood smell from the board gives me a pre-play adrenaline rush. At work, if I can get away with it, Windows' Internet Backgammon is only an Alt-Tab away. I buy Backgammon strategy books and study them.

It's such a beautiful game. It takes skill of course, but there is enough of an element of chance from the dice to keep it exciting, like gambling.

When I die I want to be reincarnated as a tree, and have my branches used to make backgammon boards.
