So I'm a completely useless waste of space who's good at nothing. What are some potential hobbies I could try out? It has to be a solitary hobby. I'm also looking for something you don't typically hear about, as I've considered most of the standard hobbies, and I either can't imagine being any good at them or they're too social or for some other reason, they're not possible for me.
To give you some background info, I watch a lot of films (I know that might qualify as a hobby, but I'm looking for something less passive), but I can't imagine turning this into a hobby. The only thing solitary film-related thing I can think of is writing reviews, but I'm not much of a writer. Other than that, I don't really have any interests. I used to be good at drawing, but I've recently tried to start up again and I've found that I generally don't enjoy doing it. I suppose none of that's of any use.
Okay, before anyone brings it up, I'm well aware I spelled hobby incorrectly. In my defense, it's late, but I guess that's not much of an excuse. Didn't I tell you I was a completely useless waste of space?
u kno wat? u should build models. like u kno gundam? my friend builds these really kool gundam models n they look awesome for display when u finish.
its a good way to kill time whilst listening to music. plus u can start ur own collecction.
it doesn't hav to b gundam. it can b other different types of building.
how about drawing? anything in ur mind .......Drawing ,makes u forget about our own world (as as when we was too immersed in our own imagination). I can be a profit if u can sell some...maybe on net ^^

I used to draw as a kid, and I think I was pretty good (for a kid). People encouraged me to pursue drawing, but over time, I lost interest. And now here I am, older and not particularly good at anything, and I considered taking it up once again as a hobby, but I've found that I really don't enjoy doing it all that much. It really feels like a chore, and I figure if I feel this way, then it's not really for me, right?
yup...you right...

Thanks, Anon. I'll start making arrangements.
Drugs. Music. Masturbating to child pornography.

HAM Radio. Not only is it something to do, but it will make you useful - HAM communication nets have saved numerous lives in emergencies, and experimental homebrew radio gear built by amateurs has been the source of numerous innovations in radio technology.
Plus it's fun.
