Has anyone heard about it? They are porn sites in Japan that as soon as you click on the Popup box, you are required to be a member, and they are using the fact that people normally don't read the Popup box and just click okay.
I was just wondering if a person had click on it, and they had recorded their IP address, their host name, etc., can they actually require payment from you?
because I accidentally clicked on it, and the fee now is 30000 en plus I think a one time fee of 50000 yen. I am really scared. Please help
Do you live in japan? If you don't, never mind. If you do, don't mind either. It's certainly just a scare tactic.
It depends on Japanese law, but there's no way they could know who you are - all they have is your IP, and it's only enough to find out your ISP, and it won't give up such info.
you're okay - just ignore it and continue with your life. Of course, check your PC for spyware or anything like that, but don't be afraid of the popups or anything.
There is no possible way they're going to make you to pay that
