This thread is for posting shit when you're so bored, you're reading 4-ch on your phone!

Tip: Use Opera mini for efficient 4-ching: http://opera.no/

I used to have Opera installed on my Treo 600; since it was Java-based, I found it to be very sluggish and promptly uninstalled it. Perhaps a Treo 650 could handle it better?

Anyway, I am still searching for an alternative to the Blazer browser. It's... not very good -_-

I had Opera installed on my Sharp GX30i (absolute piece of shit, that was). Could never get it to load 4-ch.

2 here; I found a "light" version of Opera for my Treo, and it works like a charm. I enjoy it. :o

reqwireless webviewer works pretty well, too... it doesn't look as pretty as opera mini, but it's faster and more stable...

My cell phone is the size and shape of a notebook computer!

Shape of a notebook? Same here, posting from my Nokia 9500, via my WLAN.

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Series80/2.0 Nokia9500 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1) motherfucker, do you use it!?!

ps. my e-penis is bigger than yours.

Apparently you have no fucking idea how to read browser user-agents.

Compatible with MSIE != is MSIE.

Mozilla/4.0 is the browser engine, like on most win32/unix-based good browsers ("good" does not include MSIE)

As far as I know, N9500, N9300 and N9300i are the only mobile phones with a "real" browser and adequate display/keyboard for it.

tl;dr - the fail is you.

IE is the only web browser with over .5% market share that uses MSIE in the useragent string.

most good browsers either don't include 'Mozilla' in the useragent or use 'Mozilla/5.0'.

tl;dr - no, the fail is you.

I admit, Mozilla/4.0 is outdated for PC browsers, which isn't the point.. I actually thought you wouldn't start nitpicking about the version! Stupid me, 4chan is always 4chan. One more thing, correct me if I'm wrong.... do some versions of IE use Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE in their user-agent? That'd explain your behavior. Or did e-penis joke anger you? Couldn't help it; wlan, qwerty kb, 640x200 screen and pc-grade browser are very nice features for a phone. Are you posting from a cellphone or just flaming out of boredom? O.o

Anyways, N9500's browser is based on opera. Not IE nor mozilla.
