I'm searching a domain name for a new weblog that I want to create, but all the domains that I try are owned and unused.

The blog will be about me, my life and hobbys, videogames, manga, computer programming...

Any suggestion for the domain name?

The possibilities are endless:

• Use your default nick + your countries TLD, that's what I did.
• Open dictionary, pick random page, pick random word.
• "Domain names are like women, all the ones that I want are already taken" "Well yes, but you can still get one from a strange country" (Say, .cc or something)
• Me, I like the domain "somewebsite.com", it's still free afaik.

I actually just got a domain name a few days ago. I'm suprised the one I registered wasn't taken.

I just checked. días.net is available. That is Spanish for "Days" It is an IDN due to the í. You can register IDN's at domainsite.com. IDN's (International Domain Names) work just like regular names now that Internet Explorer 7 is out but not everyone knows about them yet so there are many excellent names still available.

This is true but if he decides to write his blog in Spanish then it should not be a problem as it is likely that only Spanish speaking people would be interested in a Spanish language blog. If he decides to write his blog in English then I agree that it would not be the best choice.

Just try a different country code? Or do you think it's confusing to have a Tokelau domain if you live in America?
