everyone talks about how 2ch did lots of stuff in the past I wanna look at the old threads and see how stuff really went down. How far do the 2ch archives go back?

You have to pay to access the archived 2ch threads.
There are some non-2ch sites that back up certain boards though, you can look at those threads for free. I don't have the link right now, sadly.
