Halp! I think I have a bad case of internet addiction, I'm posting this from my mobile phone, how bad is it?

BTW I'm using SE M600i - QWERTY keypad, 3G, Opera browser, T9, decent screen.

I wish I had something like that.

I often browse 4-ch with one of these, using Opera Mini. http://images.google.com/images?q=k610i

I seldom type a message though, takes to much effort.

I doubt you have a bad case of IA if you're just wasting time (sitting on the bus or something)

How does 4-ch look on these devices?

The front page has the following text, written by Squeeks in September '06:

"Shortly we'll begin creating and trialing services that will allow your cellphone/PSP/Nintendo DS/PDA to access and read the boards, and people with one or more of the said devices that are willing to help us out beta testing would be much appreciated. Say tuned, details on things will be up soon about it."

I wonder if anything along these lines was ever implemented?

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever tried visiting 4-ch using my PSP. I'll have to try it when I get home.

It looks like this: http://img111.imageshack.us/img111/4351/90349745qs8.jpg

Not very great, but usable. 4-ch is a quite nice and simple site.

it seems that 4ch is the perfect site for that sort of barebones text-only display.

how does it display the frame? or do you just see the links to the different sections, then the board itself?

Yes, like that. Opera just puts all the frames on one page.

Sometimes though frames are a problem, there is an interesting service by Google [1], basically it transforms pages for viewing on a small screen, in case of multiple frames just the first one is displayed.

4-ch works great in opera (dsbrowser) on my ds lite that i just got.
using links in dslinux is pretty nice, too.
