With all the new laws the US is passing or trying to pass about CP I'm getting terrified. Today I went to a link in a Chobits thread in /c/ and it lead to, yup, Child Porn. I dumped my history and all that on my computer but damn if I'm not worried about some knock on the door. I'm certain nothing will happen but all these laws making it so even if you click a link for CP you can go to prison I'm getting real nervous.
And what have we learned?
cp rullorz
Why are you surprised that a link in a Chobits thread led to CP?
So I'm supposed to never click links ever eh? Cause at any time any link anywhere could be CP? Living in fear sure is a good way to live.
Seriously though, should I be afraid when I get rickrolled into clicking CP?

Short answer: no
Long answer: nope

/c/ has links to CP?
I need to start lurking /c/.
Contrary to popular belief, law enforcement is usually done in a sane way (But "Police sucessfully arrest burglar" just doesn't sell as well as "DON'T TASE ME BRO").
So, if you have maybe one objectionable image somewhere on your harddrive, in the browsers cache folder, it's not like people won't believe you when you say "Well damn, I didn't have a clue that link led to that kinda image, I was expecting something else.".
If you felt like it, you could always report the link to the FBI, I'm sure they have a form for that somewhere on their website.
(IANAL, whatever)
