It's pronounced rhyming with little! That's so disappointing. Victual rhyming with actual is such a nice word for food, sounds strong and respectable. Vittle sounds like you say it though the nose and .... arghh .... I want my victual back.

People can say it however they want. It's called an accent.

In that case I will pronounce it as "fartbiscuit", it's just my accent.
