Fuck her! (22)

I wasn't even trying to get in her pants. I just wanted to be friends, and be nice to her because I liked her. Apparently being nice to someone is a crime in her book, she'd rather I stayed fifty feet away unless she calls me. WTF? Girls are fucking crazy.

Read the mating rituals editorials. And I after that read the "I Am a Japanese School Teacher".

If you didn't want to be with her, why is this on the love and romance board?

3 is right... Your intentions are obvious just by posting here.

Too many guys do this. They want to be "friends" so they can't get dumped, but be pesky and obviously want to enter a relationship, yet don't give the girl any way to turn them down since they are "just friends" and "being nice without wanting something back", even though anyone can see you are trying to make it into a relationship and she just wants out.

And of course, if the girl accepts your "niceness" or "friendship" but doesn't want to get into a relationship, she was "using you" or "stringing you along".

Sorry to rant. Obviously this happened to me from the other side considering all the "quotes" I used.

The ideal guy "relationship" (because it isn't one as such) is friendship with sex on the side. I don't mean all guys, just the overwhelming majority.

As a guy, I wish more girls would come out and say things like "Let's be friends. But that doesn't mean we can't fuck."

In that case, casual sex is god, and something most females don't seem to want. :-)

You affirm why I sadly believe that all men enter one sided relationships at first. Yes, men do want to enter a relationship because it is virtually impossible to be just friends, for both parties, and any woman who denies even the tiniest attractions are lying to themselves. The men realize it instantly and don't lie, yet the women don't want to hear it and often times it doesn't work out. THis all makes sense since deep down inside, we're all programmed for the same thing. Men find it harder to control than women though, although I think society has screwed things up enough to brainwash women into believing that its the man that has to do everything. (rants because I too have been burned by this situation. I have plenty of female friends, but no "girlfriends").

thus making the difference between men and women, i think we all could share that situation though. still not sure as to why we act this way.

I disagree. At least, that's not how I form relationships with people - and by "relationship" I mean anything between two persons - and I have a penis. My psychotic female counterpart (by which I don't mean anything resembling "girlfriend"), by that account, should.

Yeah, I know, general statements, blah blah blah. But I think too many people put too much faith in general statements like that.

>>4 is right. I have plenty of friends that are "just friends". They know very well that I'm not interested in pursuing anything romantical with them. Which is why some (not the majority, obviously) of them come to me for comfort sex and more of them for cosy moments, and the others feel free to frequently flirt with me - flirting with no strings attached = as pleasant as being Anonymous here, for them. Now, that is a bonus. For me, attraction doesn't mean I actually want to be in a relationship with the girl or "stick it in their pooper", and they know it.
Yes, it is possible to be like that without being a retarded jerk. I'm too picky about who I want to have a longterm relationship with. I'm not interested in having relationships that are obviously going to end within a few months because of incompatabilities.
Perhaps that's why girls feel at ease around me: They know it's a matter of us not matching, rather than that I see them as something flawed. It does get a bit sad when someone I'm not interested to be with in the long run gets too attached to me, though, or vice versa.
Hmmm.. Ahahaha... My post makes me sound like a total fag (no offense intended). Oh well!

Speaks truth.
There was this guy hitting on me continuously and then calling us friends whenever it was convenient for him. As much as I wanted to be "just friends", his flirting and actions hinted differently. He asked me out for lunch, which I later found out was his vague, vague way of asking me out (he confessed it months later). Luckily I trusted my instincts and didn't go. I didn't want his advances, just his friendship. But he blurred the line between friendship and romance (making it much harder to confront him about it), so I just ended up avoiding him.
