Well if you are in the friendzone, you are basically out of luck.

I got a girlfriend because within weeks of meeting her I asked her out. Then we went on first date, then the second, then third, and so on. I want to say about 2 months of dating I was with her and we met one of her friends and she introduced me as her boyfriend and I guess that is how I knew I had a girlfriend.
