MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
I finally told the girl I am intersted in about my feelings and I asked her out. Command?
We are gonna have lunch together next Friday and then we are gonna spend the evening together. What should I say? I don't really know what to talk about. We are both kinda shy. Where should we go? What kind of restaurant should we go to?
Halp.
i'd say go to an interesting movie, that'll solve three problemes, it'll be a good way to kill some time, give you something to talk about afterwards, and is someplace to take her. then afterwards, take her to a decent restaurant. That makes McD's, Wendy's, Burger King, and all them out =P
Ehhh, movies are a bit dated, but it'll work. Depending on her and your interests, something like rock climbing or whatnot could work. As for a food place, I'd suggets someplace a bit unusual, but still classy. We have an Ethiopian Cuisine in town that is perfect, so look/ask around for a place that could work. I suggest nothing too heavy duty though, just a tad classy and a relaxed atmosphere. You might have to run though a good list to find one you are happy with
Is my suggestion is all, get some more I'm not too good with this part myself
I agree. Sometimes movies can get boring. It depends on the person though. I myself would enjoy a day at a museum or aquarium. That's always kinda cool. Bowling can be fun, but it's more of a group thing. You can go ice skating. Um... Let me think... I like theme parks, but that might be too much for a first date.
And >>3's right. Don't go too classy. A casual restaurant is the best. Nothing that requires a dress code, but something that requires tip. If that makes any sense.
Finding a nice, unique place will give you bonus points. Movies are a bad choice because you two just watch the movie and not interact. Find an activity that requires some you two to get involved with each other. Avoid the cliche, if at all possible, try to stand out and she will remember you for that.
Arcade?
>Ethiopian Cuisine
Is this a punchline to a really bad joke?
er... I have nothing to contribute. Except congrarations! You are more of a man that I am. Er... play Wii?
Yeah, nice restaurant, arcade. Something like that.
But I am really shy. I don't know what to do. We are both shy.
I would go to the restaurant before the date and talk to one of the maitre d' and try to find out who will be working that night. Get a reservation and asked the the maitre d'of the night to pretend to be an old friend. So when you go on your date (be sure it is busy) tell your date you will ask for a table. And your "friend" will say the restaurant is full but for you he/she can get you a table. And it will look like your social network helped you in the clutch.

Either go dancing or, depending on your climate, hit an amusement park.
Or picnic in a park.
it can also be fun to go out with a group of people, ie double dating, etc. it works well if you are worried about it only being the 2 of you and having nothing to say.
I don't suggest movie for a first date. Try something wallet-friendly, fun, light-hearted restaurants. Go casual, don't go for hip places first.
If both of you love games, arcades can be nice, too.

Bumstead?
bump
relevant to my interests
It's best to not have anything planned out by you. You BOTH should decide on what to do.
can we have some feedback? its already way past friday, what did you do in the end? hope it went well
No. You are taking her out on a date, it is your event, you are the host so you should have everything planned. That is how a gentleman should do it.

truth
Do not go to a movie on a first date, Movies are quiet and dark.. first date are meant for couples to get to know each other! Take her to a nice restaurant or a walk in the park.. yeah it sounds cheesy, but damn it's a lot better than the movie.
