First of all, please forgive me if I am posting on the wrong message board. I just thought this would be the closest to the topic.

I am an Asian girl who lives in the US and I am really interested in Japan and its people. However, I would love to have a Japanese friend to talk to in English. I wouldn’t mind if your English is not perfect since English is also my second language. I know a few Japanese words and phrases but I am not very confident about using them. I tried searching from the message boards and chat rooms but most of the posters are Westerners who are also interested in Japan.

I would prefer a Japanese male. I do not care about your age as long as you are a good person. Please don’t get me wrong. I am not under any illusion of finding a romantic relationship. I am enjoying my life as a single but would love someone to talk to about my interests.

About the japan-zone thing... Alot of the people there don't have passable english, so there's bound to be communication issues
