I've never had a girlfriend in my life. I've asked lots of girls out, but none of them have ever said yes. Recently I met a girl who really likes me. There's just one problem... She's 12 years old. I'm not usually attracted to young girls, but she's the first girl who has ever shown any interest in me. I'm waiting until I get married (if I ever do) to have sex, so we wouldn't be doing anything illegal... My question is this: should I give up what could be my only chance to ever have a girlfriend because people might think I'm a pedophile, or should I go out with her and not worry about what people might think?

yeah...by dating a girl who is 12 years old and you being 21, people will think you are having sex with her. and even if they cannot find any evidence, you will be considered a sex offender. my advice, stick with girls around your own age, because she is just a little girl and doesnt know better.

She's an impressionable young girl, so when you tell her loveydovey stuff, she'll get all excited and all, and say it back, but she has no idea what she's actually talking about.
