So, there is a girl on the same swim team as me. lets call her K. and of coares i wouldnt be posting here if i didnt like her. so, i just got home from a 3 day swim meet. she was there for two of the days. so pretty much i got to hang with her all that time which was sweeeeeeeeeet.
but, i'm kinda worried about continuing. because i have a feeling that she might like my friend T.T i wouldnt blame her. i mean, he's hella muscule and all that jazz, and i'm a little chub. not a lot though xD
but yea, i'm gonna get her phone # tomorrow. any suggestions on how to carry through with my plan on doing so?
lol dude you need to get some muscles first then
>>1
Good luck. If she does indeed prefer guys with more muscle, then don't just ask her out, but also ask her for tips and tricks, where her fav places are etc. If she's the type who enjoys coaching people a lot, ask her for some minor coaching: brilliant excuse to get to know her even better.
meh, well every girl on the team has liked my friend at one point or another. in the end they find him as more just-friend matirial. (was talking to one of my friends last night)
and i'm also on a diet now (any good dieting tips? btw, i swim everyday at a high level for like... 2 hours a day so exercise tips arnt needed... just gotta kick eating hella)
Well, i'm off to practice now.
Rape her ass till it bleeds.
get her number, wait a few days, minimize contact with her and then invite her to get some coffee for like an hour. and none of this im scared bullshit. call her with confidence and invite her to join you for coffee.
A small question I have, how do you guys ask a girl her phone number or email?
I'm not great at getting anything that will actually help, But if she's over 18
(superpages.com) gets their name, address, phone #, but no email. If you're shy you could write her a letter and if you're not say you think shes wonderful and you'd like her email. Im doing that now, but with the letter 'cause I don't want them to know who I am exactly right now...
hey y'all.
i got her # =]
i'm calling her in a few minutes
i'm gonna ask her to a movie (maybe) gonna ask on Friday.
I think we shall go see Pirates of the Carribean 3 =] that'll be really good!
and by the way "..."
that sounds hella stalker like... i dont think i'm ever gonna resort to that.
btw:
i'm a sophomore in Highschool
she's a freshman in highschool
we go to seperate schools
god fucking damnit!!!
I had the chance to tell her how i felt, and i chickened out T.T
she asked me "so, do you like anyone on the team?"
and guess what i said? "naw, not really"
and she picks up on the "not really"
so then she keeps pressing it, like she is trying to get me to say for about... 5 minutes.
and i evntually say "oh, she goes to my school. you wouldnt know her."
GOD DAMNIT I AM A DUMBASS!!!
-but, she told me she doesnt like my friend. she says that he's good looking, but he isnt someone she would want to be her boyfriend.
-omg,i'm so stupid!!! gah! how can i recover from this!? i need to know how to make it better!.... fuck, and now that i think about it, we had a convo on "who do you tink is the prettiest girl on the team" and i said a different girl ;.; i'm fucked....
god, why do i have to be such a coward T.T
if i was younger, by now i would just txt'd her to set things straight... but that seem so unbelievably LAME!!! fuuuuuuuuuuck
just call her and say "remember when you asked me blah blah blah....and I replied nah, not really blah blah blah? well i lied, i like you so much that i think of you when i'm eating my cheerios so be my chick".

something like that.
Or some cheesy "I love you so much I chickened out because I was afraid of my feelings but I realized how much this is important to me and how big my mistake was and blahblahblah". This has a slight chance to scare her, though.
yea, i feel that saying something like that would kinda freak her out. that's coming out to strong...
hmmmm... i'm thinking maybe it would be easier for me if we went to a movie first... perhaps...
dude, i'm such a pussy.

If you say something like that, make sure you say it when you're leaving. Like when you seperate and then you say.
"Oh, you know when you asked me who's the prettiest girl in the swim team? I lied, it's you." Then just walk off. It would probably prevent an awkward silence since you are already lying.
to late...
called her today and he hung out for about an hour
I told her how i felt, she doesnt feel the same way
shortly after we seperated and went home
blahhhhh
shame, Ah well, you did well enough. There are more fish in the sea.
yea, still sucks though.
time for this thread to die i guess
aaaakh,
well you tried man.
good job, you have done something I have never dared to do.
Wow you really fucked up. You came on waaaaaaaaayy too strong.
Protip: If a girl ask you if you like anyone, NEVER tell a girl you truely like her and never tell her that you like someone else. Just avoid the question, play games with her, just make her think that you can like anybody so she will fight harder to get your attention.
Things brings me to my next point. Why did she have a reason to ask you who you like over the phone? Weren't you suppose to ask her out for a movie, wasn't that the point of the call. If you want to have a conversation with her, you should save it for the date. Keep it short and get to the point after the brief formalities.
It is all good though, you are young, learn to screw up now and you will be better off in the future.
yea, i realize i came on way to strong and that i should have waited. but it was more something i just had to let out. After i said it, it felt as if this HUGE weight was lifted off my shoulders, literally
well, i did fuck up this time. but i think that this is a good learning experience for me. plus, we already got passed that hella awkward stage... only really late 15 minutes and then we just went on talking like it never happend. we still talk so i think it's all good
