ITT the cute stuff you do with your SO that makes people's teeth rot if you do it in public. Because us singles need hope. :(
Neither my girlfriend nor I are naturally affectionate, but we have ways around it. Namely, pretending to cry and comforting each other with a warm embrace. It's a cheap excuse for hugs, yes, but it always works so well when we want a hug but feel too awkward just giving one.
Also, we make out. Passionately. Saliva on my face afterwards. It's great.
We Both like to hug and cuddle.
We kiss now and then but nothing as passionately as >>2 (she is a Baptist).
But yeah, being single really sucks ;_;
It's great being able to fall asleep in someones arms.
My advice (if you are in High School) is to use the prom to get close to someone you like.
PS - Good luck in whatever you try >>1-san!
I love how empty this thread is...
I'm happy... being alone
Hey, this thread is for couples. If you're single, GTFO.
And yes, I'm aware of the irony.
Single's not so bad. There's innate advantages and disadvantages to either situation. However... I say being in a happy, healthy relationship>single life.
In true otaku/nerd fashion me and my girlfriend will be hanging out with all our friends at someones (usually not either of ours)house and while the rest of them play supersmash/guitar hero/beatmania/mario kart we'll go to the corner of the room where we cuddle and I try to kiss everywhere but her lips. This kind of behavior has successfully weirded out her friend enough to occasionally insist on bringing as many people as possible to avoid being stuck hanging out with just me/her and her.
.....Two of my friends have become such a cutesy fluffed up happyhappy couple that anyone (even complete strangers) who are within a twenty foot radius for more than a few minutes want to duct tape them to a spaceship and send them to mars to annoy aliens....At any rate, being in a relationship is nice, but being single has its perks too.
Being single has the perk of being sucking all meaning out of life and leaving my emotional state an empty husk.
I'm in a happy relationship because
1) I'm no model but she likes me anyway. (For my personality?!)
2) We've talked over issues of sex, finances, and "open relationships", and yet she still wants to be with me, an unemployed college kid with a low sex drive.
3) We never really argue but speak very openly.
