I dont want to be the new Densha Otoko, but i got to call a girl tomorrow and i got no clue what to talk about with her.
I just dont want that to be a "Hi/how are you/thx im fine:silence" conversation. Any suggestions? I'm afraid i'm one of that stereotypical /b/tard guys who cant talk with girls...

Ask her questions. Questions lead to answers, which lead to finding out more about the girl and leads to non-silence. Before you know it, one of those questions will lead to a indepth conversation about it.
Talk about anything. Movies that are playing at the theater, what you ate for breakfast, the weather, what you watched on TV last night, a CD you are looking forward to, anything. You're not talking to yourself, she will say something too, and her input will open to more things to talk about. Before you know it a few hours will have passed.
Guys assume just because you're talking to a girl it has to be about something SUPER IMPORTANT and that is simply not true.
tell her she has a nice pooper, then discuss about the stock market.
Just talk about anything, boring typical questions are even ok because they can lead into more, plus they aren't really boring if you end up making her enjoy talking to you.
how about you ask her to meet you at some place. it is better to talk to her in person than over the phone.
