I have been talking to somebody online for quite some time. And this girl and I, we are going to meet up this weekend. But now I am starting to freak out:
1) Because I am worried about things going south
and 2) Because in my entire life I have never been on a date!
She made the move to meet up with me and take me out to dinner. What should I be doing?? I have no idea what to do. SOS!
Iiiifff... you've been talking to her online and it's a legitimate date, then just continue being the nice person you obviously were online, since that apparently interested her enough to want to go out to dinner with you...
Just enjoy the dinner, perhaps escort her back to her place, and leave with a small hug, if things are going well, and say that you had a wonderful time... (Naturally, have some things to talk about planned out in advance for over dinner...)
Again, if you've already talked with her enough to be going out w/ her, then you are likely beyond the point of you needing to be worried over this...

And you're sounding a lot like a troll with that post, but if by any chance you're not just a lame guy who thinks he's 2ch hero, then you should offer to pay for the whole thing when you're actually there.
<<5 What is a 2ch hero? Yeah, I thought I should pay the whole thing. Thanks for the advice!
Always offer to pay when the bill comes around, but if she insists on going dutch let her.
And make sure you tell someone else when/where/who you're meeting, in case she turns out to be a serial killer. (But seriously.)
*make sure you tell someone else when/where/who you're meeting, in case she turns out to be male.
Fixed.

surely in that case you don't want anyone to know you ever met
