like desserts or something. They are my co worker. The thing is they were the one that invited me so who should pay the bill if the bill was combined? I live in Seattle so I don't know if this is common. Thanks.
you pay for your own food. your coworker invited you for something work related. if the bill is combined, you can ask the waiter to split it. i dont live in a big city, and i know this. get out more, seattle has a lot to offer.
noo i don't think it's worked related. I'm still in my teens. It's just my summer job so..
i guess they are being friendly. see where it goes, but dont expect a hawt date.
As far as the food, offer to pay your share... and if you don't know, just pay a third, if there are three of you, for example... If the bill's $30, then shove $10 at whoever's paying before they get a chance to object...
(And yes, don't expect a "hawt date", especially if they're not your age, and are co-workers, they're probably being nice... Unless one of them is around your age, and is just wanting to gauge what you're like...)
she's probably wondering if you'd like to go out with her, and is thinking she'll just be your friend if not... at least, thats what i'd probably be thinking in such a situation.
Normaly if a girl has a boyfriend and gets driven home a couple of times, talks to you, asks for your phone number etc, she'll let you know she has a boyfriend so you don't get the wrong idea at some point quite early on.
I think you should just call her, and ask her out to dinner. she'll probably say yes.
but it's not girl, it's girls that invited me. I am also around their age though. What should I do?
No seriously, I don't think I'm a quarter as Loverly as I'm making myself out to be...
Wel... Maybe a quarter...
Honestly speaking though, I'm still afraid of approaching individual girls. And just because I get approached by girls every week doesn't mean that I can get laid whenever I want. This is a lot to give up.
huh?
guys should always pay. =/ it sucks but its a fact of life
No.. this isn't a date, nor are they close pals.
Split the bill and pay your share.
Whenever I go out with a group of friends (mixed genders), we always split the bill.
what do you mean close pals?
how do you know?

More accurately, the one who invites the other person out should pay. If that happens to be the girl, then the girl should pay. That's how inviting works.
Works with friends too, one friend of mine always invited me out places and then refused to accept my share of the money because it was his invitation, and it's stupid to invite someone out somewhere and then expect them to pay.
this thread is stupid
stop feeding the troll
how am I a troll?
>what do you mean close pals?
Cerebal palsy?

um yea, if its between friends. but i think OP wants to be more than just friends...and thus he has to pay, its all part of the game =/
lol shes only 1 year older than me
so i got back and what should I do? We pretty much just talked and ate. Should I invite them next time? But I will only see one of the girl next time at work. Should I invite one or all? I pretty much want to get to know both of them though.
This is a board about love and romance. Not straight-up interaction with female FRIENDS. You wanna date this woman? Try taking her out on a date instead of informal, friendly, work-related gatherings.
so im asking whens a good time i should do that

Ask her out. You're just embedding yourself further and further in "friend-territory".
>>23 - Anytime... It's ok to get to know both of them, but if you're interested in one of them, you need to decide... Perhaps one more time, you could offer to meet the two of them for dessert after work, but if you're thinking of asking one of them out, you need to decide, and quickly, and use something along the lines of "I really enjoyed going out with you guys, and I wanted to see if you wanted to go again sometime, just me and you..."
w00t seattle.
seafair was awesome
better todo it on a friday after work so that you both can have a good time and not have to worry about work related stress for the next day.
