Ok, so I'm in love with this girl, and I confessed to her about a month ago. She said that she is not emotionally ready for a relationship (She's already had one that I know of) and is now trying to hook me up with one of her friends, whom I'm pretty sure likes me. I don't like her that way, but if I don't I feel like letting down the one that I love by not doing what she asked me to do (Which was to ask her out).

This sounds weird and very high school. She knocked you back: It's over and it'll never happen, k? As for her friend, tell girl you think her friend is cool but you don't like her in that way. She'll divert her friends and no ones feelings are hurt.

i agree with >>2 its not going to happen, even if she did give a bullshit excuse or a true one. also i agree you should tell your friend that you don't see her friend like that. she'll come up with the best way to let her friend down so you don't need to worry about that.
