In all my life, I've only known ONE Asian guy who had a black gf. Which is saying a lot since I'm Asian, AND I live in Southern Cali. Personally, I've dated almost every ethnicity there is other than Black and my own (Chinese). I have seen others, but I don't count them as they are the type that >>8 refers to.
I'll let you know right now that 80% of it is purely the intimidation factor, not racial preference. I have no doubt that if I had ever really hit it off a black girl, I wouldn't have turned her down for her skin color.
