There was this one Facebook event that I was invited to around here in SoCal. A pillow fight in the middle of Fashion Island (upscale outdoor mall). Barely anyone showed up, despite the ~60 estimated to attend, but, hey, I met some people, got them to hit me up on Facebook.
Today's Singles Awareness Day wasn't a loss, I suppose. =D
I turned in an essay, had a midterm, worked on a class project, played some video games...really the same as any other day. I'm lonely in general but don't see why everybody makes such a huge deal out of today. It's pretty silly.

Yes, it's a corporate holiday, but whatever. For couples, it's a great excuse to give gifts and share a day together. For singles, they shouldn't feel lonely or self-righteous about it. Like >>8 said, people shouldn't make a big deal about it.

Meh, single. Actually tried to go to a club on Valentines Day to try to meet some girls after convincing myself I could do it. I just sat there in the corner and chain smoked, trying to build some confidence, but knowing I was pariah. I'm probably going to die a virgin, and I'm becoming rather accepting of the fact.
