So i've heard about online relationships, such as from chatrooms and websites. But what is your opinion about meeting through online gaming (Ex. Warcraft, etc.) ? I highly doubt that it's enough common ground to keep a relationship alive but i've been told differently.

Considering the number of relationships broken by online gamining, that's at least one issue that will not pop up in such cases ^_^

As for the rest it's like all other meetings: you may or may share other interests, there's no way to know before trying

the only real problem i think there is with dating someone you met online is the whole proximity thing. Most likely the person you meet will live pretty far from you. for me I see it as a pretty big obstacle that needs to be over come but I don't really see any other problems. I think if you play a game enough to meet someone and become friends with them you must have enough in common already.
