I am 21 years old. I have only had three girlfriends in my life and am not good with relationships. In fact the longest of those three were only nearly two months. The shortest I broke up with her after a week because I felt tied down already. I suck at these things. My last date was months ago and I don't date very often. ＿|￣|○

I think I do dress nice but I have a unique personality and most girls usually lose interest after a little while because of how I act (a little immature). But I believe in being myself (; ^_^)

Yesterday I met this girl by chance near my school and we got to chatting. (she was sooo cute) I don't know why, but I did not stutter at all. I wasn't nervious and came off okay. I even got her number and we exchanged a bunch of texts! We made plans to hang out but I said I would call her first to set everything up.

Now here's my problem. I am terrible when it comes to talking on the phone. I get nervous... I don't sound right...I come off as angry (I think) and I don't think I can think of anything say unless we are face to face. How can I make this work?

I must admit I'm younger than you, I've had 2 relationships, 1 lasting over a year. You may think 3 is such a disappointing amount but trust me, I know guys who have never dated in their life.
I know what you mean when you say it is hard to talk on the phone, getting all nervous and such. A majority of us all go through the same thing. Remember though, she is waiting for your call and the best bet you've got is to just man up and call her back. Some girls think it's cute you are nervous, but understand she WANTS to hear your voice because she agreed to a CALL. Just talk to her casually like it isn't a big deal. because right now, it isn't a big deal, its just a date. and maybe it'll be a big deal when you 2 start really getting things going
