My girlfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years. We are very serious and plan on getting married soon. However, in our conversations, when the times come up, I'm terrible at "pet-names", or so they call them. You know like, honey, sweetheart, baby...I kinda wish I knew some more of those! "Sunshine" and "My love" are about the extent I can provide. TBPH most other ones sound... faked, forced even.

Again, just me.

Most common name for your lover in Hungarian could be translated as "My squirrel" (mókuska).
And Mezoamerican Spanish use "Little doll" (muñequita).
And Wu Chinese has "Love spirit" (airendai).
But Only use these if she's a linguistics student.

I used to get called a lot of stuff, fat-head, walrus, baldy. Jigglypuff a few times. I just used her full first name, none of that short crap. As lame as it sounds, just just felt better saying her name.
