Well,... I know of someone who went out with the daughter of his mother's new husband. There's no blood relation, so why not? It's not like these people shared their childhood, this new "family" relation is just an accident.

Incest is wrong because of the psychological barrier put up between blood family members romantically because they are together from a young age, and because incest couples give birth to "special" children. Neither of the above apply, so I guess go for it if your family can see that you technically aren't related and accept it.
