I hear they're making a comeback.

Now, while I think they're one of the greatest hiphop groups of all time, comebacks have a nasty tendency to, plainly put, suck. And they broke up, like, 10 years ago.

So, are they going to suck or should i somehow dig up the cash for a trip to ny and see them?

Caught them live last night. Wasn't too impressed with the new songs they performed, same goes for Ladybug's solo stuff. As much as I hate to say it, I think the time period they came into Hip Hop (the Ummah/Native Tongues era) was it for them, and being out of the loop for so long will make it an uphill battle.

However, seeing Cool Like That performed live was sweet!

It's sad that there has to be a time and a place for music acts. I mean, I still like a lot of things that have gone "out of style". The band might still be evolving but pop culture leaves them in the dust and nobody cares.

Ladybug is hot. I don't know how well the comeback will fare, but Blowout Comb will always have a special place in my heart.
